Marc C, Fishtown BID
Inspired by his father’s civic leadership in Northeast Philadelphia, the author developed a lifelong passion for public service. While studying at Temple University, he served as a District Aide to State Representative George T. Kenney, Jr., later running for that seat in 2010. As Chief of Staff to State Representative John J. Taylor, he proudly served over 70,000 constituents. A Temple and Widener Law graduate, he practiced law and gained national attention for defending elderly grandparents in a DHS case. Returning to government, he worked as Policy Analyst for Councilman Frank Rizzo before leading the Mayfair and Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement Districts.
